Merlin was a very special horse and all who knew him fell in love with his kind and patient nature. I was lucky enough to have shared nearly 11 years of his life with him and I wanted to do something in his memory to help horses and pets in general who benefit from the fantastic work the AHT do.
During the time I had him, Merlin suffered from a blood virus, allergies, a keratoma and more seriously, colic which finally took his life. The AHT have ongoing studies of many of the things Merlin encountered but they are also helping with the Canine Seasonal Illness being reported in the New Forest and many other diseases which affect our horses, cats and dogs.
